Each year, Zonta clubs around the world mark the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence from 25 November to 10 December.
In 2025, Zonta Warwick will once again stand with our community to say "Zonta Says No to Domestic Violence Against Women". Throughout the campaign, our bright Orange Ladies figures will be displayed in local shops across town, each offering pamphlets and resources that anyone can take and share. Wearing orange and “painting the town orange” has become a powerful local symbol of hope, solidarity, and a shared commitment to preventing violence against women.
This year, with the support of a grant from the Southern Downs Regional Council, we have been able to purchase additional banners to amplify our message and place them in key locations around Warwick.
We will also host an information stall at the Rose City Shopping Centre on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 November, where community members can access details about services and organisations that support women affected by domestic and family violence.
We invite everyone to stop by, learn more, and join us in creating a safer community for all.
