The Zonta Club of Warwick is proud to announce that our President, Dr Colleen Hunt, has been elected as Area 4 Director for the 2026–2028 biennium at the District 22 Conference held in Mt Isa in September. This is a wonderful recognition of Colleen’s leadership, dedication, and commitment to Zonta’s mission. We’re thrilled to see her step into this new role and continue driving positive change for women and girls across our region.
As President, it is both an honour and a privilege to lead this dedicated group of women who are committed to building a better world for women and girls through service and advocacy.
Our club is part of Zonta International, a global organisation with a proud history of advancing gender equality and supporting women in all aspects of life. Here in Warwick, we bring that vision to our local community through projects, fundraising, and partnerships that make a tangible difference.
We are proud of what we have achieved together, supporting scholarships for young women, raising awareness about domestic violence, bringing the community together to celebrate International Women’s Day, and contributing to international initiatives that empower women worldwide.
Looking ahead, we will continue to advocate, support, and inspire, working hand-in-hand with our community to create opportunities and foster equality.
I warmly invite you to learn more about our work, join us at an event, or consider becoming a member. Together, we can make lasting change.
With gratitude,
Colleen Hunt
In Warwick, the Zonta Club is a circle of women who roll up their sleeves to create real change.
We host International Women’s Day breakfasts that inspire the community, sew breast care cushions for women recovering from surgery, and pack birthing kits so mothers in remote communities can give birth safely.
We fund scholarships and bursaries that open doors for local girls and young women to help them pursue their dreams.
Most of all, we stand together to end violence and build equality.
Rooted in friendship and service, our club is part of a global movement that believes every woman and girl deserves safety, opportunity and respect.
By supporting Zonta Warwick through financial contributions or offering your time and skills, you can help change lives of women and girls both in our region and worldwide.
